Thriving with Toddlers & Surviving the Early Years
Toddlers. If you know, you know. Its both the best and the hardest of times. Just as you think you have cracked the whole motherhood thing, you suddenly have a walking, talking toddler to contend with. Its the best. Its also the hardest. It’s so often what I describe as bitter-sweet. “Long days, short years” very successfully captures what it means to be a parent to toddlers. Its magical and fun, and exhausting and sometimes hard. There’s potty training, temper tantrums, new obstacles and new developments. So much silliness, so much naughtiness. They grow way too quick. With every new stage you realise you didn’t appreciate the last enough. These blog posts in particular focus on the obstacles we encountered and our solutions (both successful and unsuccessful). I hope looking back I remember just how special this time was.
